WATCH Gallipoli 1981 IN HD STREAMING
Archy Hamilton est un jeune homme à l'endurance et à la ténacité exceptionnelles. Son oncle Jack l'entraîne à la course à pied. Archy, qui rêve de sortir de la ferme familiale où il s'ennuie, s'inscrit à toutes les compétitions. En 1915, il saisit l'occasion de quitter son pays : il s'engage dans l'armée britannique en trichant sur son âge, en compagnie de Frank Dunne, un coureur à pied rencontré par hasard. Durant le trajet, les deux jeunes gens nouent une solide amitié. Frank est engagé dans l'infanterie et Archy dans la cavalerie. Ils arrivent bientôt sur la péninsule de Gallipoli, d'où doit partir une offensive contre les Turcs…
