Quand son fils Martin, âgé de 10 ans, mord jusqu’au sang un de ses camarades, Elaine (35 ans) part à la recherche des origines du garçon, chez ses grands-parents paternels Adrienne (65 ans) et Joseph (68 ans) Urwald, des viticulteurs de la Moselle luxembourgeoise.
