lors que Mika passe l’été au Canada, Ari voit débarquer au haras des invités inattendus: la troupe d’un cirque équestre itinérant, venue s’abriter suite à une violente tempête. Ari se lie d’amitié avec Carlo, qui l’initie au monde fascinant du spectacle équestre et lui présente Hurricane, le cheval vedette. Ari réalise, attristée, que Hurricane est surexploité par Yiri, le directeur de cirque, sans égard pour sa santé déclinante. Avec l’aide de Whisper, Ari et Carlo mettent alors au point un plan pour sauver Hurricane. Face aux ruses de Yiri, il devient très vite indispensable de sortir la botte secrète : le retour de Mika !
