L’expédition dans les profondeurs de la jungle indonésienne devient de plus en plus bizarre et se transforme rapidement en véritable enfer ! Un animal, hors de son milieu habituel, est traqué par un prédateur invisible et mortel. L'équipe se rend alors compte qu’il s’agit d’une nouvelle espèce qui ne craint pas les humains, et pour cause : ceux-ci font office de nourriture !
