WATCH Sonate d'automne 1978 IN HD STREAMING
Eva, épouse d'un pasteur, écrit à sa mère Charlotte, une pianiste de talent qu'elle n'a pas revue depuis sept ans. Charlotte, qui porte le deuil de son compagnon, accepte de se rendre chez sa fille. Les retrouvailles sont chaleureuses et émouvantes – jusqu'à ce qu'Eva apprenne à sa mère que son autre fille, Hélène, infirme incurable, vit recluse au presbytère. Charlotte semble contrariée ; en fait, elle est responsable du malheur d'Hélène. Petit à petit, la tension monte. Pendant toute une nuit, les deux femmes vont s'affronter…
