Il y a 41 ans presque jour pour jour (20 juillet 1969), les Américains envoyaient un homme marcher sur la Lune. Pendant ce temps, en pleine époque du « Peace & Love », Frisson, un garçon de douze ans dont le père vient de mourir tragiquement, trompe l’ennui de vivre à la campagne auprès de son idole, le motard Tom Faucher, comme lui grand fan de Jimi Hendrix. Il fait les quatre cents coups avec son ami, le gros Thibault. Il nourrit un amour secret pour sa maîtresse d’école, la charmante Hélène, et il tente par divers moyens d’accéder à son intimité.
